Hotel Mar Azul Rooms

What we loved was the staff was so accommodating. We were leaving at six so they opened the breakfast up for us 2 1/2 hours earlier! What hotel would’ve done that. They helped us find amenities along the way couldn’t be more kinder. Hotel restaurant was amazing with true Portuguese dinners

It was really close to the beach and the city center. Breakfast was good enough.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was well taken care of. And the establishment was at the center of everything we wanted to go and see during our trip.

The location was brilliant, really close to the beach and shops. The balcony was nice. The staff were all friendly. The WiFi was great.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect - 1 min from the beach, 1 min from the train, 5 min from Casino and boardwalk, 3 min to grocery store. Rooms have a little balcony, that makes it really cosy.

Like the previous time that's why I chose this hotel again. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is also great. The rooms are perfect, clean and perfect for the purpose .

Good value for money. It's simple but good enough if you are looking for an economic option. I stayed on the 3rd-floor in a 2-room, 1-bathroom area with my family and we had a good restful night. There was some noise outside, some kind of noisy machine (I don't know whether it belonged to the hotel or to some construction outside) but it stopped strictly at 10pm and then it the setting was mostly quiet even if the rooms are not soundproof.

After reading reviews I got worried about hard mattresses and poor breakfast but both of them were good. The hotel is located very close to the beach - Espinho has beautiful sandy beach.

The perfect location in Espinho. 1 min from the beach and train station. Lots of bars and restaurants just around the corner. The family room was perfect for 5 people(3 children). It was a double bedroom with a private toilet, just right for a couple of nights.

Plenty hot water, good bed , ample storage. Friendly female receptionist. Some of male staff should look for new job cause hospitality is not their gift

Location was great. Good size balcony, central to the train station, casino, many restaurants, and the beach and shopping promenade. Very accommodating and helpful reception attendant.

The hotel was close to everything which was very convenient.
